+

To raise the quality of design work and the level of architectural planning, ~~the Union of Architects~~ KAT must organize a range of activities, supported by its members, to give designers strong knowledge, education, and theoretical and practical training. This is one of the main priorities of the ~~MUA~~ KAT.

We believe criticism is vital for further improving architectural work. Recognizing that this work has lagged behind, we need to develop architectural criticism and research in collaboration with architects and art historians, and direct ~~union members~~ THE PUBLIC toward it.

Our architects should focus on carefully studying the principles of the progressive traditions of national architecture and skillfully combining them with scientific and technical progress, to create architectural works with ~~socialist~~ CONTEMPORARY content and national form, with distinctive planning for cultural and public buildings.
